Course Description

KDLA is offering an overview of "ReferenceUSA: The Government’s Best Research Tool." This training session will include an in-depth look at the database with information on content found in the database, quick and custom search methods, and content retrieval options including creating mailing lists.

This training session will:

Provide an overview of the directory of over 14 million businesses 210 million residents in the U.S. & Canada
Explore how to locate current financial information on U.S. companies
Demonstrate use for market research
Create mailing lists
Perform flexible searches by industry code, yellow page category, 2007 NAICS and SIC, geographic location, etc.

KDLA offers these courses free to Kentucky State Employees.

Certificates of Training will be emailed to you following the session.

Delivery Method:

These hour long classes will be conducted online with iLinc web conferencing technology. Class participants will need access to the Internet and a telephone.

Limitations:

Only Kentucky State Employees are eligible to register.
There is a maximum of 24 persons total per class.
