Bureau of Labor Statistics (http://www.bls.gov) principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics.

Occupational Employment Statistics (http://www.bls.gov/oes) produces employment and wage estimates for over 700 occupations. These estimates are available for the nation as a whole, for individual States, and for metropolitan areas; national occupational estimates for specific industries are also available.

U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (http://www.eeoc.gov) features federal EEO laws, discrimination facts and guidance, and research and statistics.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) (http://www.osha.gov/index.html) offers information on laws and regulations, safety and health topics in the workplace, and inspection data.

Occupational Outlook Handbook (http://www.bls.gov/oco) the source for career information. Revised every two years, the Handbook describes what workers do on the job, working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a wide range of occupations.
