GED Preparation

If you have not had the opportunity to earn your high school diploma, a GED certificate is an important goal. The GED can help you get a better job or just feel better about yourself! Almost anyone who is at least 16 years old and not in school can take the GED Tests. Contact your local learning center to see if you qualify. The GED is made up of five tests and costs $40. Your local learning center can also help you get ready for the GED Tests. You can even learn online!

Materials indicated by call numbers may be found on site using the State Library's Online Catalog. All other sources may be acquired using the State Library's Interlibrary Loan Services. To request materials, state government employees should use the Kentucky Government Employee Materials Request form. To apply for a library card, State Government Employees should complete the online application.
