- Half of the time for this position will require the applicant to perform duties required of Circulation Clerk:

- checkout patrons, check in items, place holds, process patron resource requests, readers advisory, create and update library displays and shelving.

- The second half of this post will be filled with the applicant becoming an apprentice to the two full time cataloguers.

- Working under the guidance of the Cataloguer I and II this person will learn the process by which books are catalogued and placed into the library system.

- This position will ready them to eventually move into the Cataloguer II slot as the space becomes available, meaning the post will go full time at a future date.

- Various other library related duties as set by Director

-Previous experience working in a library setting will be taken into account High School Diploma, Equivalent or Above

-Must be at least 21 years of age Able to lift push, pull, carry etc. at least 25lbs. of weight

-Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time

-Capable of performing all physical activities involved with the day to day workings of a library: shelving, setting up chairs and tables for programs and events, etc.

-Motivated, creative, cheerful and team orientated applicants are highly desired.
