Create and present book-based and extra curricular activity programs during the evening, afternoon and weekend hours.

-Will also provide special reading programs during the non-school months.

-Will cover the age category of 11-18 years as well as partner occasionally with the Children and Youth Services Librarian to offer special library events for all aged events.

-Coordinate the Young Adult Advisory Council and it's volunteers. Assist in selecting YA resources.

-Create book displays, flyers, brochure and other such forms of advertisement and PR materials to entice the young adult age group to read more and participate in library programming.

- YA coordinator will provide support to the circulation staff and will be included in the regular desk schedule.

-Coordinate with school partners to provide in school YA partner programs such as reading groups.

- Various other library related duties as set by Director.

Previous experience working with this age category is preferred

-High School Diploma, Equivalent or Above

-Must be at least 21 years of age
