1. Work with Board of Trustees to articulate and advance the library's mission.

2. Be accountable for the library's strategic planning and daily operations.

3. Develop and maintain, as the library's principal advocate, effective relationships with constituents.

4. Manage a budget in excess of $700,000 to provide innovative, responsive programming, collection development, and customer service.

5. Assist with the design of and coordinate the transition to a new building (early-tenure focus).

1. ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent education and experience.

2. Progressively responsible professional, administrative, and supervisory experience (7-10 years preferred).

3. Demonstrated record of successful library planning, program and service improvement and marketing, financial management, and staff development.

4. Capital campaign experience desirable.

5.
