Public Library Institute 2008-09

The Public Library Institute is a two-week course of intensive training for the public library staff on a variety of library topics. Some topics to be included are library history and philosophy, reference, technical services, material selection, outreach services, and children’s and youth services. Various tours are planned. The first week of the Institute will take place in Frankfort on October 20-24, 2008. The second week will take place in Bowling Green on March 16-20, 2009.
