To
assist those interested in securing information published
by Kentucky state agencies, KDLA has, in cooperation
with the Committee on State Publications, created electronic
bibliographies that are considered significant in providing
basic reference service on many aspects of Kentucky
life and government.
This
listing of CORE Kentucky state publications began in
1990; however publication dates and holdings for some
titles will predate the 1990 startup. Most state agency
publications have limited press runs presenting information
that may be highly specific and time sensitive. As a
result most publications go out of print very quickly.
Original
copies of publications may be secured from the issuing
agency; supplies however, will vary. Original publications
included in the CORE are available for use in the Archives
Research Room, Kentucky Department for Libraries and
Archives, Frankfort, Kentucky. Microfilm, xerographic,
or electronic copies of original publications may be
obtained via interlibrary-loan from your local library.
