Original archival records in the State Archives Collections are non-circulating because the materials are unique and irreplaceable. Microfilmed records also do not circulate.

Members of the general public can either view and make copies of Kentucky military records on site Monday - Friday, 8:00 to 4:00, or request items by mail for a small fee using the Military Records Request Form.

Copies of records requested off site will be sent by U.S. Postal Mail.

If you have questions about KDLA's military records collection, call (502) 564-8300, ext. 346, or contact the Archives Research staff by email.
